According to drummer Andrew Wetzel, Attack Attack! is no longer with Rise Records.
"More importantly, This Means War was our last record with Rise Records. We don’t have another record label or anything lined up and probably not planning on going to another one. So it’s like we’ve got this sitting around that we can do whatever the hell we want with whenever we want ... The music industry is pretty pathetic and the general business model of the record label doesn’t seem to be cutting it anymore. It’s really important to make sure that your business is very liquid and that you can move and change very quickly and you can adapt and you can be in a position to set the trends instead of just chasing them forever. So we feel like it’s probably a better plan for us. You know, we really don’t like being told what to do, so it just kind of ultimately works out better."

Jesse Lacey States Brand New "intends on getting music out" By End of the Year

In a recent interview, frontman Jesse Lacey hopes to have music out by the end of the year!
"Well we probably started writing new material as soon as we were done with the last record, it’s just lately we’ve all been exploring our peripheral projects outside of ‘Brand New’. It’s been nice to get back together again, because you’ll hear something that Brian’s done, or Vinni’s done, you almost get jealous of it, because you wish you had been part of that, so we’re definitely excited to get back in the studio together. We have studio time in April but we’re not really sure how that will turn out, unfortunately for our fans, it’s really ‘see how it goes’ for now. But we are intent on getting music out, we’d like to do it before the end of the year."

Bassist Sean O'Donnell Leaves Yellowcard
Bassisst Sean O'Donnell has left Yellowcard after joining them when they reunited in August 2010, read his statement below
"In April of 2010, the 5 of us met up in Los Angeles to play some music, hang out, and talk about the future of the band. I felt privileged to be invited to get to do so, and it was an amazing couple of days. Fast forward a year and a half and we’ve put out two full lengths, shot 6 music videos, and traveled to almost 30 countries. It’s been an exhilarating time for all of us in the band and some of the most fun I’ve ever had in my music career. Which is why I’m sad today to let you all know that I am leaving Yellowcard.
This is not one of those ugly messy band member departures that seem to plague rock music. This is a personal decision, and it’s mine. Simple as I can put it, playing in a band that is on a full time touring schedule demands a balancing act of work and family that I can no longer pull off and still remain happy. As you can imagine, this was not an easy decision to make, but usually the really important ones never are.
While I feel confident in my decision, I know I’m walking away from a lot. I feel truly blessed to have been invited to such a close knit family, one that I was welcomed into completely. I’ll miss the guys, I’ll miss the shows, I’ll miss making all those ridiculous YC sessions videos. I’ll miss all of the love I got from the thousands of fans all over the world. When my former band Reeve Oliver was on tour with Yellowcard in 2005, I said onstage that all I could ever hope for was for us to attract fans who were as supportive as Yellowcard fans. I meant it then, but now I realize the full impact of the love and support you guys give. It’s immense, it’s real, and it’s completely necessary for this band to survive and to thrive.
Yellowcard has made great rock records before me, and will no doubt continue to do so without me. I will now continue on in the role that I have held for the last 13 years, that of a devoted fan.
Thanks for your time, and thanks for reading this,
Sean O’Donnell"

Two Members Of The Word Alive Have Left
Drummer Justin Salinas and keyboardist Dusty Riach have left The Word Alive, read the statement from frontman Telle Smith
"I think it’s quite the compliment when people say our drums were programmed or even triggered. Justin is one of my best friends, and extremely close with us but yes he decided to call it a day with touring. We aren’t missing a beat though, we have a great drummer who is going to take what we had planned and truly help make the drums take another leap forward. We’re not delaying our record, not canceling any shows and are moving forward as always. Every band goes through member changes, but the reality is Tony Zack and myself have written 90% of everything with most of the instruments post-Empire. Dusty left the band weeks ago so that is true, for much different reasons but all of those elements will be there. The new album has a ton of electronic components that we’re trying and Tony and Zack did a great job at taking it up a notch in my opinion."

Mark Hoppus Begins Writing New Music For Blink-182
In an interview with Mark Hoppus, he states that he has already begun writing new music for Blink-182!
"I'm sure these will all be Blink songs at the moment. I don't have any plans to write songs with anybody else right now. If I do, it'll be a collaboration or a one-off thing, but everything I'm writing right now is for Blink-182. It's really too early to tell. At the moment all I've got is a bunch of chord progressions and ideas. It's more me playing my guitar and coming up with little ideas and melodies. By the time it goes to Tom and Travis and we work on it as a band, who knows what it will sound like."
